Dumbarton Oaks in cooperation with North of Byzantium and the American Institute for Southeast European studies are pleased to announce a lecture by Prof. Ivan Drpić (University of Pennsylvania) on March 24, at 4:00 p.m. EST.
The lecture, “The Gold of Bankska,” explores the little-studied phenomenon — the extensive use of gilding in medieval Serbian wall painting.
